Geography

The Netherlands has borders with Belgium and Germany. The country covers 33,883 sq. km of land and 7,643 sq. km of water. With over 16,000,000 inhabitants, this small country is one of the most densely populated in the European Union. The Kingdom of the Netherlands includes the dependant principalities of Aruba and the Netherlands Antilles.
